Belfast Ju Jitsu League – Spring Open

Open competition, adult only (Kimono) white and blue belt

Date- Saturday, 27th April 2024

Location- Queens Physical Education Centre (PEC), Stranmillis Gardens, Belfast, BT9 5EX

This event is pre-registration only. We do not take late registrations or registrations on the day of the event.

We have a max capacity of 100 registrations and registration will be closed from Thursday 25th April 12-00pm

Format

Belfast Ju Jitsu League follow Round Robin formatting meaning that all adult competitors get 4 matches for signing up for a division that fills up to 5 competitors.

Divisions

Male 18+ White and Blue

Female 18+ White and Blue

Weight divisions-

(-58 kg), (-64 kg), (-70 kg), (-76 kg), (-82 kg), (-88 kg), (-94 kg), (-100 kg), (over 100kg)

Weigh-ins

All weigh-ins will take place on the day of the event. You do not have to weigh-in with your Gi on.

You only need to weigh-in once.

You can weigh-in anytime from the starting (9-00am/10-00am) until 60 minutes before your scheduled division start time.

You must have officially weighed in before your division time and have made the weight, or else you will be disqualified and removed from the bracket.

Division mergers

Competitors who do not have anyone in their division group may be merged with another division.

Medical services provided

There will be a trained and professional medic on sight.
